This weekly session will be run on Mondays throughout Term 1 2024 for our younger ‘Dirt Riders’! More details can be found on our rider levels here.
**********************************************************************************************************************************************
This program is ideal for newer riders to develop fundamental bike handling skills and provide an introduction to riding off road, balance bikes welcome! Training wheels are not suitable due to the uneven surface we ride on.
Each session is carefully planned and structured in a sequential way to progress the fundamental skill sets including your body position, balance and ability to ride in control.
This will be done through fun group game-based activities conducted in an open area. Our activities build essential skills to help your little one ride safely smoothly and in control.
We then take these skills to the trail, using some select trails within the Walmer Day Visitor Area.
The maximum participants for this session will be 6 to maximize learning time and provide opportunity for specific individual feedback.
The program will consist of 8 sessions in total which allows for a couple of spare weeks at the end should we need to conduct make up sessions due to any cancellations.
