Our new rider levels are replacing our previous system of grouping by age. The new system will enable us to form groups based on; bike set up, confidence, current riding experience, and current skill level.  Age will still be a consideration, but generally only used for guidance. The new system will enable us to move riders across our groupings as they progress and develop their skills!

This weekly session will be run on Mondays throughout Term 2 2024.

The weekly sessions will be structured to enable your child to build confidence in the fundamental skills of mountain biking and gain experience riding a variety of terrain types.

Each session is carefully planned and structured in a sequential way that will allow your child to further develop their confidence and ability while riding the local trails.

The program will consist of 5 sessions in total, please note there will space for make-up sessions at the end of the term, if any session needs to be postponed due to weather.

• When: The following Mondays throughout Term 2, 2024: 29th April and 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th of May
• Meet: “Bacos Trails” Trailhead at the Walmer Day Visitor Area/Recreation Site, Castlemaine
• Times: Mondays 4:00pm – 5pm (1hr Session)
• Cost: $110.00 Inc GST

We do offer trial rides, this is a single session registration for new riders to trial our programs. The trial ride also gives us an opportunity to assess riders current skill level. The availability of the trial rides are dependent on if we have spare places remaining in the program. Please contact to discuss if you are interested in this option.
