This session is for riders who are just starting out on their MTB journey, or similarly who are well and truly in the midst of it!
This is a group skills session specifically for women.
The goal of this session is to develop more consistent and autonomous application of the fundamentals skills. The structure of the session provides expert instruction and feedback and supports the progression of skill in a supportive and fun environment.
Learning the fundamentals will allow you to form a solid base that will act as the building blocks for your ongoing development as a rider.
The session caters to those who are emerging as riders and attempting aspects of skill development for the first time. We tailor experiences and opportunities to build confidence through the application and understanding of good technique.
More experienced and consistent riders are provided with an opportunity to consolidate the fundamentals, replace bad habits with good ones and build a solid base from which more advanced skills can be acquired.
The session will cover the below skills;
- Body Position – To develop a strong stable riding position, the ability to manage instability by being relaxed and achieve traction and confidence on varied terrain.
- Operation of Controls Braking – For ultimate control in confidently managing speed and creating flow.
The maximum participants for these sessions will be 6 to maximize your learning time and provide opportunities for specific individual feedback.
