This is a 2 session program just for our younger ‘Dirt Riders’! More details can be found on our rider levels here.
We also have a pictorial glossary here to help explain the various bike set ups and bike relevant terms mentioned within the rider level descriptors.
Our rider levels are replacing our previous system of grouping by age. This system will enable us to form groups based on; bike set up, confidence, current riding experience, and current skill level. Age will still be a consideration, but generally only used for guidance.
If you are unsure on where your rider should be placed, please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss.
This program is ideal for newer riders to develop fundamental bike handling skills and provide an introduction to riding off road, balance bikes welcome!
Each session has been designed and planned to progress the fundamental skill sets; therefore it is essential that the 2 sessions are completed consecutively.
The program will progress your child’s position, balance and ability to ride in control. This will be done through fun group game-based activities conducted in an open area. Our activities build essential skills to help your little one ride safely smoothly and in control and most importantly to have fun on two wheels.
We then take these skills to the trail, using the ‘Oak Forest’ and some select sections of trail.
The maximum participants for this session will be 6 to maximize learning time and provide opportunity for specific individual feedback.
