Overview

This weekly session will be run on Mondays throughout Term 4, 2025.

Rider Levels / Rider Grouping System

Our rider level system focuses on bike setup, confidence, riding experience, and skill level, replacing the previous age-based grouping. Age will be a guideline, but it will not be the main factor for group placement. More details on rider levels can be found here, along with a pictorial glossary for bike setup and relevant terms. If you’re unsure about where your rider fits, feel free to get in touch for assistance.

Session Structure

The weekly sessions are designed to help your child build confidence in fundamental mountain biking skills while riding various terrain. Each session is planned sequentially to develop their confidence and ability on local trails.

Program Details

  • Total Sessions: 8 sessions in total (16 total sessions if opting for the 2 x term special)
  • Make-Up Sessions: Offered at the end of the term for any sessions postponed due to weather.
  • Absentee Policy: No credits for missed sessions due to absenteeism.

Schedule

  • Mondays throughout Term 4 2025
    • October: 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th
    • November: 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th
    • December: 3rd (SPARE)
  • Mondays throughout Term 1 2026
    • February: 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd
    • March: 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd (30th SPARE)
  • Time: 4:00pm – 5:00pm (1-hour session)
  • Location: “Spring Gully Trails” at Muldoon Reserve and Skills Park, Bendigo

Cost

  • Program Fee: Term 4 only: $232 Inc GST ($29 per session)
  • 2 x term special:$418 Inc GST ($26.10 per session a 10% discount has been applied for the 2 x term special)

Trial Rides

We offer trial rides for new riders to experience our program. This is a single-session registration, which also allows us to assess your rider’s current skill and confidence levels. Availability is dependent on spare places in the program. Please contact us if you are interested in this option.

Important Note

A minimum of 4 registrations is required for this program to proceed.
