This weekly session will be run on Tuesdays throughout Term 3, 2025.
Rider Levels / Rider Grouping System
Our rider level system focuses on bike setup, confidence, riding experience, and skill level. Age will be a guideline, but not the main factor for group placement. More details on rider levels can be found here, along with a pictorial glossary for bike setup and relevant terms. Session Structure
The weekly sessions are designed to help your young person build confidence in fundamental mountain biking skills while riding various terrain. Each session is planned sequentially to develop their confidence and ability on local trails.
Program Details
- Total Sessions: 6 sessions in total
- Make-Up Sessions: Offered at the end of the term for any sessions postponed due to weather.
- Absentee Policy: No credits for missed sessions due to absenteeism.
Schedule
- Tuesdays throughout Term 3 2025
- 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th of August
- 2nd and 9th of September
- Time: 5:15pm – 6:15pm (1-hour session)
- Location: Walmer Day Visitor Area,off Daltons Rd, Castlemaine
Cost
- Program Fee: $174 Inc GST ($29 per session)
Trial Rides
We offer trial rides for new riders to experience our program. This is a single-session registration, which also allows us to assess the rider’s current skill and confidence levels. Availability is dependent on spare places in the program. Please contact us if you are interested in this option.
Important Note
A minimum of 4 registrations is required for this program to proceed.
