SUMMARY:SPRING School Holiday Program 2025\, La Larr Ba Gauwa - RAD & FLOW RIDERS
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nThis 2-day Rad and Flow Rider program is designed to help kids develop the fundamental skills of mountain biking. The program focuses on connecting with La Larr Ba Gauwa on Djaara country through activities that develop fundamental MTB skills. Each session is carefully structured to ensure that skills are learned progressively\, making it essential for riders to attend both consecutive sessions. \nRider Levels / Rider Grouping System\nOur rider level system focuses on bike setup\, confidence\, riding experience\, and skill level. Age will be a guideline\, but will not be the main factor for group placement. More details on rider levels can be found here\, along with a pictorial glossary for bike setup and relevant terms. If you’re unsure about where your rider fits\, feel free to get in touch for assistance. \nSession Structure\nThis program is a unique combination of mountain biking skills and outdoor nature play\, offering off bike explorations\, fun bike games and of course plenty of trail time! \n\nBuild foundational MTB skills: Stability and balance\, controls – brakes and gears.\nFoster connections with self\, others\, and nature.\nHelp riders develop confidence and control on the challenging terrain of La Larr Ba Gauwa\, including a focus on the park’s only green beginner trail for less confident riders.\n\nThe 3-hour sessions are flexible\, with a balance of riding and adventure play\, ensuring fun and skill progression. Riders will enjoy plenty of trail time and outdoor activities\, with time for a BYO snack break. \nProgram Details\n\nTotal Sessions: 2 sessions\, 3 hours each\nMake-Up Sessions: If a day is rescheduled due to weather\, the make-up session will be held the day after the program concludes.\nAbsentee Policy: No credits for missed sessions due to absenteeism.\n\nSchedule\n\nDates: Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th of September 2025\nTime: 10:00am – 1:00pm\nLocation: La Larr Ba Gauwa Park\, Harcourt\n\nCost\n\nProgram Fee: $174.00 Inc GST per rider (2 x 3-hour sessions)\n\nImportant Note\nA minimum of 10 riders is required for this program to proceed. \nWaitlist\nMissed out on a ticket?
